Al has been training horses for over 27 years. His experience is vast and varied, and he has worked with multiple breeds used for many types of disciplines. He has trained horses all throughout Arizona and Colorado. He specializes in hard to handle horses, and works with the owner and horse to create a more balanced partnership. His techniques are simple - yet effective, and produce soft, willing, relaxed, balanced, and versatile horses. Through his years of experience working with horses on all levels, he has created his own arsenal of training and riding equipment. Simple and easy to use, his equipment has proven effective for use on many different types of horses and situations. He has been providing professional riding instruction to clients of all ages and abilities for over 15 years. He is the President of Hero Hearts EquiCenter, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that provides equine assisted activities and therapy to wounded military personnel, emergency services and law enforcement personnel, and adults with disabilities.
Instructor - Albert Armenta Jr.
Albert Jr. is 21 years old and has been instructing people of all ages for over years. He has ridden and owned horses his whole life. He is a horse camp leader and assists with developing curriculum as well as all indoor and outdoor activities. He enjoys baseball, football, Karate and Tae Kwon Do, and is on the Jr. Honor Society.
Junior Instructor - Ali Armenta
Ali is 18 years old and has been instructing people of all ages for over years. She has ridden and owned horses her whole life. She is a horse camp leader, a great mentor for our younger camp attendees, and assists with all indoor and outdoor activities. She also enjoys volleyball, Karate, and Tae Kwon Do.
